Alliance Model Contracts
Coquitlam Ridge Constructors was recently involved on the Falls Creek Alliance Project, a major component of the British Columbia Highway Reinstatement Program. This Reinstatement Program included remediation and repairs to three highways following the extreme rainfall event of November 2021.
The Vinci Construction Team was the successful proponent in the remediation and repair of the Trans-Canada Highway just north of Boston Bar, BC. The team participated in a Collaborative Alliance Contract Model, one of the first contracts of this kind in the transportation industry in British Columbia. This innovative delivery method of relational contracting has proven its effectiveness in managing intricate, high-risk projects. It requires the collaboration of all project participants as a cohesive, integrated team, sharing both risks and successes from the project’s initiation to its completion.
